Marienberg Roots Rosé

A Father and Daughter journey of discovery.

The Rosé project has been both exciting and interesting, involving the collaboration of 8 groups of people to bring this special wine to you. Jem and I walked many Grenache vineyards in McLaren Vale until we found the grapes with the flavour profile that we wanted. We engaged Andrew Wood from WayWood wines as our consultant winemaker. In a series of meetings and tastings we worked together to obtain the exact wine colour and taste profile that we wanted. At Hawkers Gate winery, James Hastwell handled the wine, while all of the time we kept a very close eye on the wine process.

The label design was a collaboration between Jem and her life-long friend Grace Ramsay, an extremely talented artist living in Port Lincoln, SA. Our graphic designers, Beanstalk created the label using Grace's art and ideas, bringing the bottle to life. Finally the Rosé was transported to Lonsdale where Wine Bottling Solutions bottled the wine completing the project.

It’s been a fun, and at times challenging process, but reward doesn’t come without effort and the best part is -it’s a damn good wine to enjoy with company.
